A protective helmet should be worn to protect the special needs child from dangers of physical activity, potential strike hazards (floor, wall, furniture, etc.), self-abusiveness, seizures and spasticity
The soft-top helmet protects the front, back and side of the head. The outer cowhide covering is filled with shock absorbent foam rubber. The helmet comes with an adjustable velcro chinstrap to keep the helmet in place. Helmet is washable.
