Thera-Band® Hand Exercisers are used for strengthening the hand, fingers and forearm and increasing dexterity. Other applications include reducing stress and hot and cold therapy. The softer yellow and red models fill the gap between putty and spring devices and are not messy like putty. Place a hand exerciser into the microwave or freezer for hot or cold therapy.
The XL size was designed for arthritis victims and people with large hands who are undergoing physical therapy or strength training. An elongated ball, it is one-third larger than the original hand exerciser.
