Designed to support painful or weak wrist, allow palmar hygiene and nail trimming and provide comfortable progressive extension of the fingers. This lightweight orthosis maximizes patient comfort with either Fleece of Vel-Foam softgoods, and Vel-Foam or Vel-Stretch straps. The softgoods completely cover the orthosis, leaving no exposed metal. The malleable Wire-FoamŪ splint is easily shaped without heat or tools for wrist position and to secure the forearm. Product comes with replaceable softgoods, one small and one large hand roll and a mesh laundry bag. Replacement soft goods available. The softgoods are machine washable. Specify right or left side. Measure width of hand at MP joints in inches. If the hand measures between sizes order the larger size.
Indications:
Stroke, spinal cord injury and head injury (not recommended when moderate to severe spasticity is present).
